Indian Army releases Soldier GD Bharti Rally notification for different states and regions. The details are as follows:

Educational Qualification:

Minimum educational qualification is Class 10th Pass with minimum 45% Marks in aggregate and Minimum 33% Marks in each subject.

Age Limit: 17½ years to 21 years

Selection Process:

Individuals who are able to qualify with their required eligibility criteria are then selected for further selection process. During the selection process the applicants will be participating in different tests.

Each of these test is based upon particular factor, as a matter of fact this stage consist s Indian Army GD physical fitness test, intelligence ability test, medical test.

Stage-1 Physical Fitness Test
Stage-2 Written Exam

Stage 1 - Physical Fitness Test

This test is commonly known as the Army Soldier GD physical fitness test. Individuals who have been selected for this test are required to complete the following tasks.

- 1.6 Km Running
- Pull Ups
- Zig Zag Balance
- 9 Fit Ditch Jump

Educational Qualifications:

10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Mathematics / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject.

Age Limit: 17½ years to 23 years

Selection Process:

Individuals who are able to qualify with their required eligibility criteria are then selected for further selection process. During the selection process the applicants will be participating in different tests.

INDIAN ARMY 10+2 TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME

Indian Army invites application twice in a year from 10+2 passed candidates for Technical Entry Course (TES) for the grant of Permanent Commission. The notifications are issued in the months of June and October.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent Examination passed Examination with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age Limit: A candidate must not be below 16½ years & above 19½ years.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

- Short listing of Application: Army reserves the right to decide the cut off percentage 
- SSB Interview

SSB INTERVIEW

After clearing the writing exam, the successful candidates are called for SSB Interview at the Service Selection Board. It is a five days interview procedure.

SSB Interview Procedure

Day Zero: Day of Reporting
- Reception
- Opening address
- Filling up of PIQ (Personal Information Questionnaire) form
- Filling in the personal particulars in forms supplied by SSB
- Grouping of candidates and allotment of chest numbers

Day First: Screening Test
- Officer Intelligence Rating Test (OIR)
- Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT)

Day Second: Psychological Tests and Interview
- Thematic Apperception Test (TAT)
- Word Association Test (WAT)
- Situation Reaction Test (SRT)
- Self-Description Test (SDT)
- Interview of some candidates by President/Deputy President

Day Third: GTO Tasks and Interview
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Group Planning Exercise (GPE)
- Progressive Group Task (PGT)
- Group Obstacle Race /Snake Race (GOR)
- Half Group Task (HGT)
- Interview of some candidates by President/Deputy President

Day Fourth: GTO Tasks and Interview
- Individual Obstacles (IO)
- Lecturette
- Command Task (CT)
- Final Group Task (FGT)
- Interview of the remaining candidates
